LiDAR Data
LiDAR has become the main data source for clients in need of detailed, accurate terrain information. A LiDAR sensor acquires the height of both the terrain and any above-ground features such as trees and buildings to an accuracy and resolution unparalleled by other airborne methods.
This technology can capture hundreds of square kilometers in a single day. By measuring 10-80 points per square metre a detailed digital model of the landscape can be created. The accuracy of the point measurements allows the models created to be used in any planning, design, and decision making processes.
NatureSurf Systems offers LiDAR data which is accurate, convenient and cost-effective way to capture elevation information. The resolution and positional accuracy of LiDAR means it can be used to capture and measure above-ground features over large areas including power lines, building footprints and towers.
DTM/DSM
NatureSurf Systems generates accurate Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and Digital Surface Model (DSM) to enable effective planning and ultimately produce accurate project results. Our elevation data can be used to generate ground profiles, calculate volumes, perform cut and fill analysis, planning of utilities and civil engineering works among others.
